Vinification & Aging
The grapes are hand-picked and placed in small crates. After the harvest, the grapes are taken immediately into the winery. Cooling the grapes at 8 °C, destemming and pre-fermentation maceration for 9 hours at 10 °C. Static settling and fermentation at controlled temperature in small stainless-steel tanks.
Aged in steel for three months on the fine lees with frequent stir.
Ecosystems
Malagousia has found Attica’s peninsula is a great place to develop its great personality. The mild Mediterranean climate with the cooling sea breezes along with the limestone soil provides great wines with complexity and texture.
Tasting Notes
Bright lemon color with green highlights. Intense aromas of spring flowers, peach, mango combined with botanical hints. Rich in the mouth with the aromas continuing with the same intensity and balanced by its cool acidity. The aftertaste is fruity and herbal.
